Phlebotomy Certificate

The online phlebotomy program is designed to be finished in as little as 3 months. 

 The program consists of  11 PowerPoint presentations to read along with 11 chapters in your textbook.

  The student reads the PowerPoint along with the chapter in the textbook.  Each chapter will have a review quiz. 

 After the student reads the 11 chapters and completes the quizzes,  the student will have to take a final exam.  

All quizzes and the final exam must be passed with a 70 or better to pass the program.


Certified Phlebotomy Instructor Lorinda Ward

Lorinda has over 30 years of phlebotomy hands-on experience. She has worked in a hospital, outpatient lab, and nursing home settings. She is very knowledgeable about OSHA, HIPAA, and laboratory settings. Lorinda is very proficient in drawing pediatrics to geriatrics and is very excited to pass her knowledge on to you.

  • Who can take this course

    Anyone interested in the phlebotomy field can take the course and receive a certificate of completion. Medical personnel who have successfully completed 100 venipuncture sticks and 25 capillary sticks and anyone with verifiable work experience or completed a phlebotomy training program in the past? Which includes, Military personnel that works in the medical field? EMT, Paramedic, Medical Assistant, LPN, RN, Laboratory Personnel, and Patient Care Assistants can go on to get certified after finishing the course.

  • Will I need a textbook?

    Absolutely! Once the course is paid in full, we will mail the textbook out to you. Please allow 7 to 14 business days to receive your textbook. Please make sure your address is correct.

  • This course is not for me, can I get a refund?

    Yes. You have 3 days to request a refund. You will receive your refund less any fees involved.

  • Can I take the Phlebotomy Certification exam?

    Yes. Every 3 months we send a list of the students' names and information to the organization that will administer the exam. The cost of the certification exam is $125.00 and goes directly to the certification organization. You will be emailed a free study guide. The certification organization will email you your exam.

  • Can I purchase my own textbook?

    Yes. If you don't want to wait two weeks for the textbook you may order it online. This must be approved first. We will send you an email with the link. You must send us proof of purchase. We will deduct/reimburse what you paid for the textbook through Paypal or subtract the amount from the certification exam fee.

  • Do you offer hands on training?

    No. This course should be taken by students who are already in the medical field drawing blood or who have acquired their own internship.
